Meet Dr. Pizzo, a seasoned veterinarian with roots tracing back to Newport Beach, California. Her journey in the world of animal care began at UCSB, where she pursued her undergraduate studies. Driven by a passion for veterinary medicine, she further honed her skills at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1999.

With a wealth of experience under her belt, Dr. Pizzo spent her initial three years practicing in the picturesque landscapes of Colorado. In 2003, she planted her roots in Dana Point, and for the past 16 years, she has been an integral part of our veterinary team.

Beyond her professional commitment, Dr. Pizzo has woven a tapestry of life in Carlsbad, where she resides with her husband and four beautiful children. Their home is a bustling haven for a diverse range of creatures, including three chickens, two dogs, two geckos, and a rabbit. In her rare moments of leisure, Dr. Pizzo embraces the role of a farmer, orchestrating the daily dance of caring for her cherished little farm. Her dedication to both her profession and her bustling household is a testament to the boundless love she holds for animals and the joy they bring to her life.
